Labbit Travels: Diamond Notch Falls

After Pipkin's long hike up Hunter Mountain, he took it easy and hiked to Diamond Notch Falls nearby. The twin falls are 15 ft high and flow downstream through pretty Spruceton Valley, creating little whitewater cascades.

To get to Diamond Notch Falls, you can only access the trail from the west, at the end of Greene County Route 6. The drive takes you through a scenic rural area before you arrive at a small parking area by the trail. There's a little registration box where you can leave your name, the number of people in your party, and where you're from. It's helpful to the park rangers who can then get a sense of how many are using the trails, and locate your party in case you are lost. Happy trails!
