Labbits Are Cultured

"Carrot" Acrylic, pen and ink by Jan McPherson

Clover thought that after yesterday's fridge raid she'd show Captain Holly her idea of a good time - visiting galleries and museums. Above, Clover points out one of her favorite paintings: an acrylic, pen and ink carrot on pine by Vermont artist Jan McPherson. McPherson's other fruit and veggie paintings are available for viewing and purchase on her blog, Wooden Paintings by Jan, or better yet, at the Saturday Brattleboro Farmer's Market!

"Untitled" Recycled steel and paint, Jean Pierre Schoss

Clover also likes this sculpture by Canadian artist Jean Pierre Schoss of Dog Bite Steel.  Schoss uses recycled steel from oil tanks, old farm implements and other thick steel to create charming and humorous sculptures and furniture. Paw at this link to his gallery to see even more of Schoss' work, then hop on over to a local gallery and take in some culture!
